Eye Spy's Maiden Sail

Eye Spy's maiden sail started with a lazy 12 - 15 knots. A promise of more afternoon breeze that didn't eventuate to the disappointment of the crew. A full main was hoisted & she powered up immediately. Sailing close to the wind with a full main & genoa revealed 11.5 knots on the sumlog which was confirmed by the GPS. She tracked wonderfully and was nicely balanced.
Unfortunately the breeze dropped to 10 knots in the afternoon. The gennaker was unleashed for the ride home & proved an easily handled sail. A bit of practice should see comfortable two handed sailing with the wardrobe on offer.
We look forward to showing her 20+ knots as we are comfortable of sizzling performance & ease of handing. Keep an eye out for updated pictures.
